Document Retention Policy:
     All clients were provided with their original hard copy documents at the conclusion of their matter. No hard copy documents are stored by Horizon View Law on clients' behalf. Electronic copies of matter files, including the scans of signed estate planning documents, will be stored and can be made available upon written request until December 31, 2026.
     Matter files will continue to be stored on the Horizon View Law, PLLC platforms and systems until June 30, 2025. After that time, files may be transferred to an encrypted hard drive for storage. After December 31, 2026, files and records will be destroyed, excluding any required to be kept for law, regulation, or administrative purposes.
